So, I must give credit where credit is due. I have had only one true, best friend in my lifetime and it has occured in my adulthood. However, when we actually became friends, we had no idea we even lived so close to one another. Needless to say, that was a huge plus for us once we found out. Lisa has been there for me through my bipolar diagnosis, all of my bipolar episodes and is still there for me today. It is very hard to keep a good friend especially once you get the diagnosis of bipolar. So I must give her kudos for sticking with me, through the good times and the bad. I have been there for her as well. She has had her share of ups and downs. Although she is not bipolar, she does understand a great deal about depression and the effects it has on people.
She has been there for me when my own mother/father deserted me. I will always be greatful to her and she will always hold a dear spot in my heart.
Love you always Lisa.
